During his prime years as an actor, Art had an opportunity to star opposite some of Thailand's Best Leading Female in some of the most memorable series of all time, like 'Epring, Khon Rerng Muang'.  Starring as Boonchuoy, a good-hearted nerdy mamma's boy turns reluctant murderer- husband #6 of Pring  (Mai Charienpura), Art considers his work in this 2002 steamiest primetime miniseries to ever hit the Thai airwaves of Khon Rerng Muang to be one of his best.

When the producer initially approached Art, he declined to take the role despite the fact that he was so  thrilled to have a chance to work with the director because he felt that his very Caucasian look did not fit the character with such a traditional Thai name as Boonchuoy.

He later changed his mind after receiving a phone call from Mom Noi, one of Thailand's most revered and best director of all time.  In that phone conversation, Mom Noi explained the reason why he wanted Art for the role.  He told Art that Boonchuoy is a very hard role to play due to the complex multi-layered emotions of the character.  He added that the actor who can play this role effectively must be able to let the audience in through the eyes to see the good soul deep inside of the charactor in order to convince them to root for him and feel sorry for him even while he's committing the most heinous crime.  He felt that Art's got what it takes, that's why he wanted him to play Boonchuoy.  After hearing this, Art was quick to say yes, and the rest is history!
