THE STORM MODELS
NEW YORK CITY
Only 2 semesters shy of finishing his Master of Science in Expert Systems, Art moved to NYC to pursue a career in modeling. Little did he know that his decision to move then was the beginning of a journey on a direct path toward the success so grand that even he could have never had imagined...beyond his wildest dreams.
A Model for Success
The early years of working as a model in Thailand after Art decided to move back to Thailand was very successful but nothing compared to the success and the grand destiny that was about to unfold.
Art began his acting career in a support role playing 'Suea Pao' in the #1 Thai Box Office hit of 1998 'Suea Jon Pan Suea' or 'Crime Kings.' Directed by Thanit Jitkul for Five Star Production, this epic blockbuster gave Art just enough exposure to begin the next stage of his acting career.
Art's first leading role was in the television miniseries 'Petch Ta Maew,' opposite Emma Wararat (Miss Asia Pacific 1998). This cult classic about a cat with eyes of diamonds made Art & Emma an overnight sensation.
But the role that would catapult Art into the stratosphere of stardom came in 1999 when he played a young half-breed Thai-American reject with the heart of gold opposite Sririta Jensen in her first ever acting debut in Ch. 7 surprise hit of the year 'Sapan Dao.'
Art went on to star in several television miniseries in the leading role before he said goodbye to his television career.
He once said in an interview that he love acting but had to walk away from it because he could not deal with people in the business who in everyday life never stop acting the devious characters they played on screen.
In 2011, Art was casted by a Singaporean production company, Starsmaker, to play Barry in a musical comedy 'Cold white Lies & Red Hot Scandals.' This 'Bloody Bitchy Popsicle' told the story of love & lust by using the pop tunes we know & love combined with singing & dancing to create an evening of pure entertainment.
In this international assemble cast, Art was set to star opposite Singapore's own multi-talented leading lady, Leena Salim. Ms. Salim, best known for her stage and TV work, made a triumphal return to the Singaporean entertainment scene beautifully in this summer musical hit of 2011.
Besides acting and singing, Art also best known for his energetic and fun stage presence when he takes on the role of the master, Master of Ceremony that is.
Did you know that Art was the first host of one of ch. 7 longest running reality TV show called 'Real TV Thailand'?
After finished Lakorn In Concert Tour in 2000, Art realized that singing and entertaining will be his next career move. He began to shop around for a record deal until finally found the perfect match with Warner Music Thailand. The production began on Art's first solo album in March 2003 and six months later 'Art of Love,' was released in October 2003.
